TIME TIME TIME

Can you believe it? 6 months

(month anniversary? or whatever on the 26th of each month)
in this beautiful country in the north of Europe,
called Denmark
Do you know what that means? No?
I’m sure you do
ONLY 5 months here,
not 6 or 7 or 8 or 9…
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!

Time goes fast man
and in honor of this I’ll tell you 10 experiences that I’ve had here,
things I haven’t done before in Chile (I’m Chilean, btw)
All the exchange students created blogs at the beginning of the year…
And then, me... now!
I was busy adapting myself, okay?
Like chameleons adapt. Exactly, like that…
So now I can tell you everything!

No?
Apuesto a que si.
SOLO me quedan 5 meses aquí!
y luego yo, yo... ahora juju
Estaba ocupada adaptándome, okay?
como los camaleones se adaptan. Exacto, así me adapté yo…
Volviendo al tema...

Now, let me tell you the 10 THINGS!

1.       Castle / Castillo

I don't think it's normal go to castles in my coutry...
yea, because we don't have :O
I went here with my host family and I was really really really happy,
and you kow what? I have the best host fam ever!

2.       Candies and presents every day at Christmas/Dulces y regalos cada día en Navidad

Yep, candies and presents everyday!
and a real Christmas tree! (not a plastic one)
and also 20 kilos, jk...
but I loved all the danish traditions.
Dance around the tree singing,
candles, "nissers", juleaften, and MANY more things!

regalos, cocinar pasteles, etc
 HYGGE!

3.       Concert / Concierto

Omg! first concert ever, really Scarlett?
We thought you were funnier...
yea guys,
and it was with my nice host sis, and we were on the backstage

4.       The Periodic Table cake /Pastel de la Tabla Periódica

It's healthy for your brain, right?
Saludable para tu cerebro?

After eating that cake, I felt full of science.
That was completely new for me :o
I mean, that kind of cake

5.       Snow / Nieveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Snow, snow, snow
of course... This is Scandinavia!
I really like seeing all covered with snow
I freaking love that!

6.       Danish hot dog? / hot dog danés

Okay this is a chilean hot dog called "completo"

And this is a danish one,
even if it's not danish, you can see it everywhere here, so...
Completely different but I love both
and now I'm hungry!

Argh. Tengo hambre!

7.       Real bambis / bambis reales

Had you ever seen a real bambi?
not me,
so yea, I did it!
Some friends and I went to the forest to feed some REAL bambis
I was dying! it was so nice!

y done! alimentamos bambis reales haha
creo que he repetido mucho esa palabra,

8.       Decorate pumpkins / Decorar calabazas

Do we celebrate Halloween in Chile?
Yes, we do... here a pic ,  last year dear friends
Celebrando Halloween en Chilito el año pasado (my bro, Cata, Javi and me)

but the pumpkins aren't so popular...
and then in Denmark
it was really cool with the best host siblings!
(Primera vez decorando calabazas en la vida)
Scarlett with blonde hair? Rubia?

9.       Ice-skating / Patinar sobre hielo

I used to skate a lot when I was little
like A LOT!
All the time, everywhere,
but not on ice, so this was my first time and I love it!

10.   Cook “empanadas” / Cocinar empanadas

Cooking + Scarlett?
What?!
Are you kidding me?
Gabi and I cooked "empanadas" one day (a traditional chilean food)
and I was so afraid because I never, never, like NEVER cook
(except "alfajores")
and my host family liked it!
So that made my day that day

So yea guys, new blog
SPANGLISH

Have a nice week! :D
