One day you are standing there, trying to understand one "simple" word.

The next day you are buying souvenirs because the year is ending.

That's me right now,

I came yesterday, I'm in Denmark today and I'm leaving tomorrow

but heeeeeeeeeeeeey!

nobody told me about these three days! I thought it would be a year haha

you know?

Seriously! I can't believe I have just 2 months... and then: Hi, Chile!

Should I be sad? Should I be happy?

I dunno, so DON'T ASK ME haha

I have a tangle of mixed feelings in my head

like... I miss my family and chilean friends like crazy,

but also I don't want to say goodbye to my danish friends and host family

(I can't even thank them enough for all they have done)

The only thing I know is that I want to keep learning as much as possible about this beautiful country, and keep enjoying with my host fam and friends

but again, DON'T ASK ME how I feel :) haha

Un días estas ahí parada intentando entender una "simple" palabra.

Al dia siguiente estás comprando recuerdos porque este año está terminando.

Esa soy yo en este momento,

Llegué sólo ayer, estoy en Dinamarca hoy y me voy mañana

pero heeeeeeeeeeeeey!

nadie me dijo que serían 3 dias! Pensé que iba a ser un año!

saben?

¡En serio! No puedo creer que tenga sólo 2 meses más y luego: Hola, Chile!

¿Debería estar triste? ¿Debería estar feliz?

No sé, así que NO ME PREGUNTEN jaja

Tengo un enredo de mil sentimientos mezclados en mi cabeza

osea... Extraño a mi familia y amigos chilenos como loca (sobre todo a mi Fiore),

pero también no quiero tener que decir adiós a mis amigos daneses y familia danesa

(Ni siquiera puedo agradecerles lo suficiente por todo lo que han hecho por mi)

Lo único que sé es que quiero seguir aprendiendo tanto como sea posible sobre este hermoso país,

y seguir disfrutando con mi familia anfitriona y amigos daneses

y repito, NO ME PREGUNTEN cómo me siento :) jaja

This week was the last day with these sweet guys

and now we don't have more danish lessons!

and that's kind of sad...

because, although we don't need more danish lessons (we speak danish now)

They are really nice people! and we had so much fun together every week!

y es un poquitin triste, porque aunque tal vez no lo necesitamos más

(porque ya hablamos danés ahora)

Ellos son muy geniales y lo pasabamos super bien juntos todas las semanas!

soooo On Monday I took this book with me and they wrote cute things to me!

Awww they are soooooooo nice!

and I wrote in their books too haha

and we watched a film and ate candies, chips, cookies, etc haha HYGGE!

Y bueno el lunes llevé este libro acerca de mi intercambio que estoy haciendo

y escribieron cosillas para mi

Son tan simpáticos y tiernos!

Y vimos una peli y comimos dulces, chocolates, galletas, etc juju HYGGE

my host granparents came to visit us the whole weekend

and we went - all together- to a Danish Restaurant in another city,

but not any restaurant,

it was a place full of HISTORY!

The restaurant is related to the Hvidstengruppen,

a Danish resistance group during World War II, when Germany invaded Denmark

Oh otra cosilla entrete de mi fin de semana

fue que mis abuelos daneses vinieron a quedarse todo el fin de semana

y fuimos con mi host familia a un restaurante danes en otra ciudad,

pero no era cualquier restaurante!

era un lugar lleno de historia,

porque en ese lugar se escondía el grupo Hvidstengruppen,

ellos eran un grupo de resistencia danes cuando Alemania invadió Dinamarca en la 2da Guerra Mundial

And I liked it! It was really nice and we ate traditional Danish food of course!

HYGGE!

Oh and I went to a Confirmation party with my host family too,

I will write about it on my next post because I will have another confirmation on friday :p haha
