FIRST/PRIMER/FØRST?

Serendipity means a "fortunate happenstance" or "pleasant surprise".

Something unintended, unintentional and unexpected, 
a discovery and experience that happens by accident.

The chance is an event, serendipity a capacity.

That is how I define this year here in Denmark
If you know how or why I am here, you would understand
(btw that picture is from our FIRST week here)

Serendipia significa "casualidad afortunada" o "agradable sorpresa" 
que se produce cuando se está buscando otra cosa distinta.
Algo no buscado, no intencionado, e inesperado, 
un descubrimiento y experiencia que sucede por accidente.
El azar es un evento, serendipia una capacidad

Serendipia es como defino este año en Dinamarca

y si conocen la historia (la historia larga) llegarán a la misma conclusión

The FIRST thing I saw from the airplane was all the windmills in the water, in Copenhaguen
and I loved it

Lo primero que vi desde el avión y que llamó mi atención fueron los molinos de vientos en el mar, en CPH (la capital)

The FIRST things I bought when we went all together to the first city: a bottle of water, an ice cream and some candies

(and there I realized that everything was super expensive compared with Chile haha)

Lo primero que compré cuando fuimos a la primera ciudad: una botella de agua, un helado y una pequeña bolsa de dulces  

(y ahí enseguida me di cuenta de lo caro que es todo aquí).

The FIRST words I learned  in Danish were "spiser" (=eat) and "hej" (=hi)

Las primeras palabras que aprendí en danés fue "spiser" (=comer, que suena como s-pizza)

 y "hej" (=hola)

The FIRST thing that came to my mind my FIRST day of school was something like:

"wow this is like a funeral full of models"

Simply because physically Danes are very pretty? handsome?

both women and men, and they dress really cool, but they like to wear - most of them- 
only black, gray or white, 

which, I think, is a little bit boring (cause our school uniforms have those colors haha) and really different compared with Latin America,  (in general  we love colorful things, etc)

Lo primero que pensé en mi primer día de clases: “wow esto parece un funeral, pero de modelos”, simplemente porque los daneses son muy bonitos físicamente 

y tanto mujeres como hombres tienen rasgos muy bonitos, pero la lata es que se visten solo con negro, gris y blanco, lo que encuentro un poco apagado y aburrido (porque en el cole usamos esos colores como uniforme) y muy contrario a Latinoamérica que en general amamos las cosas coloridas, estampados, etc.

The FIRST thing I thought "oh this is a little bit weird/different to me": throw the papers to the toilet instead of the trash can, take off your shoes every time you go inside a house and say- ALWAYS - after eating "Tak for mad", which means thanks for the food.

Lo primero que encontré extraño de aquí fue: tirar los papeles al inodoro y no a un basurero como en Chile, sacarse los zapatos siempre que se entra a una casa y decir siempre luego de come (sin excepciones) "Tak for mad", que significa gracias por la comida.

The FIRST think I thought in my FIRST danish party: They don't dance, they drink and jump

 Lo primero que pensé en una fiesta danesa fue “Nadie baila, solo toman, se curan y saltan = fome para mi”. 

The FIRST thing I thought when I met my host family: Are they so tall or am I so small?

oh and: They are cool people haha

Lo primero que pensé cuando conocí a mi familia danesa: Ellos son muy altos o yo soy muy enana?

oh y también: Ellos son gente cool :) 

There are sooooooooooooooooo many new experiences!
Sooooooooooooooooooooooo many "FIRST" times here
and I'm so happy and grateful for all the beautiful moments
and well...

this weekend was AWESOME with YFU!
We are definitely a family of people from different countries
but it was also special because we had to say goodbye:(
or see you soon, in some years?
I dunno!

Definitivamente somos una familia de personas de diferentes paises
pero esta vez fue diferente porque tuvimos que decir adios:(
o hasta pronto, en algunos años mas?
No lo se!
wow taaaaaaaaaaaaantos sentimientos en sólo 3 dias!

So yea, this was the FIRST goodbye that I have...
and in some weeks I'll have to say goodbye to...

Asi que esta fue la primera despedida que tengo...
Y en algunas semanas tendré que despedirme de...

This weekend was incredible!

Laugher, food, love, cake, conversations about our year here, nice moments, party, lancier, staying awake until 3-4 am ?, tears, kings, queens, princes, princesses, diplomas, signing books and flags , sleep in the hall, spinning under the rain, photos and more

Fue increible!

Risas, comida, amor, fotos, pastel, conversaciones acerca de nuestro año aqui, recordando momentos, fiesta, lancier, quedarse despierto hasta las 3-4 am?, lagrimas, reyes, reinas, principes, princesas, diplomas, firmar libros y banderas, dormir en el pasillo, dar vueltas bajo la lluvia, rejalarse, y mas...

I don't think you know how much I love these guys,
they are not just people I met
They are real friends 
and I love them SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH
I just never thought to have friends from all around the world, never!
and I'm so happy about that now!
I feel like the half of my heart will be forever in this part of the earth:(
and I really hope to see you again
so If you wanna travel to Chile - no matter when -
you totally MUST to visit me
and I know that is difficult (and expensive if you are from Europe)
but yeahhhhhhhhh
